Features
As a starting point we implemented a few basic features that can ease some heavy lifting.
- Custom form data scraping.
- SMS/Txt sending.
- Basic auditing.
This gives you the ability to choose a custom form that was created inside the EMR and build the queries required to pull the data out. The data is pulled out into a by patient by date row of data in which makes it very easy to build reports. The extraction process is scheduled to run nightly so that every day a clean export/snapshot of the data is available for reporting.
This gives the ability to send txt messages. For now we support 3 services; Wire2Air, Twilio and Exchange mail. The exchange mail is totally free since it relies upon the SMS vendors having an email to txt service which is free. The other services are paid services.
The auditing portion gives an administrator a live status of the user and session load on the server which is important for load balancing and to adhere to EMR licensing constraints.
