Because these Chinese adapters use Razer chips or bad batches off these chips. That's what I have heard. The Razer chips have the Microsoft authentication. As for PS4 Mayflash Magic-S Pro has the Sony authentication while Cronus and Brook do not. It partially has to do with authentication certificates, keys etc. |

I am curious as to why is that the case? I guess it is because they link their controllers with special ids/fuckery to make it unemulatable, but then how come there are Chinese knock off controllers that can emulate being original or these kits that lets you use mouse and keyboard as a controller on the xbox series s/x/one?
