add cryptography related problems

i have little knowledge here but some of these might be possible?

• AES encryption variants
• parallel hashing
• multi-scalar multiplication
• number-theoretic transforms

Among the more computational problems and the easiest to turn into a problem, I can think of in cryptography, I would think of elliptic curve point addition.

There is a set of CPU challenges in Python/Sagemath by CryptoHack: https://cryptohack.org/challenges/ecc/

These problems may require to provide a header with basic cuda multi-word arithmetic as computations are usually done over large prime fields.

Thanks for the pointers! we’ve started experimenting with crypto problems on tensara and have three up already: one on ecc point negation (link) and two on finite field operations (link, link). the idea is to build from these toward zk-related workloads. feel free to try them out and share feedback before we add larger pieces like point addition or msm.
