Creating tags is extremely slow on ntfs-3g mounts in Linux

It seems to be the mmap.move call. When the frame doesn't yet exist, write() takes forever to insert the frame on ntfs mounts. For example, on an ext4 drive, inserting the frame is almost instant. On NTFS it takes upwards of 5 minutes.

Ok, this happens with mutagen too, it's the mmap calls. I've bypassed them for now on my own system and the fallback method is much faster, but I think it's worth looking into.

The fallback with a temporary file is a lot slower on well-behaving filesystems, so I'd not like to remove mmap from stagger. An easy workaround would be to add a configuration variable (and a corresponding command-line option) to disable mmap. Would you be willing to implement this?
