Vtiger 6.5 Can't Create or edit Custom Modules

I have updated vtigerCRM to 6.5 and now the Module Designer throws an error when I click "Make and install the module" --> "An error occurred. Please try again."

Is there a fix?

Sorry but this project is for 6.0-6.4.

Probably you need to change something to make it work. Im sorry since Im no longer working in vTiger systems and dont know what changes in 6.5.

Hi, I just meet this problem and trying some things, I found a way to resolve my issue.

I discovered it exist some structure changes between 6.4 and 6.5 making the files generation by Module Designer on 6.5 fail.
After a short view, I found directories, programs and language files are not build the same way and files are not located at the same places. What explain why Module Designer fails.

But you can use 6.4 to develop your new module and then install it using the Module Manager on your 6.5 version.

As an option, after module creation on 6.4, using Module Designer on 6.5 you can upload your 6.4 module zip file into Module Designer on 6.5, do some change if required or maintain it on 6.5.

It works for me.

Of course, that's not the State of the Art solution, but it's a workaround.

Hope this helps and somebody will work on the MD 6.4 to 6.5 upgrade.
