Plans for adding MPEG Layer I Audio?

Hello pl,

I really had hope that this wouldn't happen, but it did. As I might have expressed already, I'm using this library for an MPEG decoder inside an FPGA. It works great! However, the first medium appeared that actually makes use of MP1 instead of MP2.
Did you have any plans to support that or maybe you already have some source code for this?

If not, it seems that I have to add support for that myself. But before I start that, I at least would like to know if effort was already made to add it.

I haven't looked into MP1 at all and no plans for it. From my understanding, some parts of the MP2 decoder could be used for MP1 decoding, too. I'd accept a PR for MP1 support, if you decide to work on that.
