Hi and thank you for opening this conversation. We've added some rudimentary in-browser image enhancements before, but they're likely not sophisticated enough now. (e.g. sharpen, edge, histogram eq). I think we could do better color correction, but I'm curious what that would look like from an interface perspective. I think we could add color histograms and possibly a vectorscope and controls for lift/gamma/gain/offset, but that's inspired by video color correction, so I'm curious to hear if you have any different/better ideas! Thank you,

Hi, Many thanks for the feedback. We were thinking about using Macenko or Reinhard normalization for the entire slide, and then using that slide for work in camicroscope. But that's a more complicated approach; it would be more convenient for us to be able to enable color correction in camicroscope itself, as you described above. When do you plan to add this feature? Or can it be done by enabling it in the existing distribution? Regards, |

Dear community,
I'd like to clarify whether it's possible to color-correct a slide if the raw image from the scanner is very pale. In the example image below, the top image is a slide in the desktop version of the Leica viewer in color-correction mode, and the bottom image is a slide in CaMicroscope. Perhaps this functionality already exists, or are there plans to add it in the near future?
Thanks,
