I see there is a big blocker for folks using this package. I'm presently working on a project involving the google drive APIs and I'd be happy to help implement this feature, but I wanted to make sure the project is accepting pull requests?

another package that has utilized this solution is gcalcli. (check step 6 of the 'login information' section for example cli args.)
