Cant use nextcloud while groupfolders is enabled

Several weeks ago something happend to my nextcloud and I couldnt access it anymore.
Eventually i found out that something happened with groupfolder, and if i was to disable groupfolders i could at least get into nextcloud.
So thats what ive been doing for weeks, without any groupfolder access.
if i enable groupfolders again, i will get an internal server error when hitting any nextcloud page.

Steps to reproduce

1.Enable Groupfolders using the php occ command
2.Open my nextcloud website
3.I get the internal server error.
4.If i disable groupfolders, i can get into my cloud. but no group folders.

Expected behaviour

I want to be able to log into my cloud and access my groupfolders.

Actual behaviour

Nextcloud doesnt seem to work with groupfolders for me.
it broke several weeks ago, and ive waited for some update to fix it, and none have ever come.

Team folders version:
i have nothing called "team folders" in nextcloud. if youre referring to groupfolders, that is: 20.1.4
Updated from an older Nextcloud/ownCloud or fresh install:
watchtower keeps it updated
Where did you install Nextcloud from:
its a container

i have a mount to a shared drive

I think I had a similar issue on my Rasp with NC 32.0.2.
Logs showed:

I first reinstalled group folder apps (with no success), then I passed the maintenance commands:
occ db:add-missing-indices
occ maintenance:repair --include-expensive

Maybe you'd have to run the "occ upgrade" command first.

I work fine now.

Thank you for your reply. I tried those commands and am still facing the same internal server error when groupfolders is enabled.

Have you tried to remove and reinstall app (Team Folders)?
Ive noticed that they changed app name, and in upgrade process, group folder is considered as "incompatible" with 32.0.2

Seems like groupfolders need to be enabled before i can try to remove it, so Im using occ commands.
i just tried removing it using this command:

`php occ groupfolders:trashbin:cleanup

i disabled groupfolders and went into the ui, and saw team folders was disabled. So I removed it.
Then I try to download and enable it and get this error that I cant enable it because it makes the server unstable.
