No link generated at “Page”-dropdown

Summary

If a resource is selected in the page dropdown, no link is created.

Step to reproduce

• Select word or words
• Select edit/create link
• Select resource in the Page area in the Page dropdown
• Confirm with OK

Observed behavior

No link is generated

Expected behavior

A link should be created. If a URL is inserted around the URL area in the field, a link is created

I have a further (related) observation which makes the UX confusing, especially for non-technical users. Let me know if I should create this as a separate issue?

When creating a new link, and after selecting the page (but before confirming OK), the "Select resource" dropdown remains empty, which misleads users into thinking no page/link will be generated.

Step to reproduce

• Select word or words
• Select edit/create link
• Select resource in the Page area in the Page dropdown
• Do NOT yet confirm with OK

Observed behavior
The "Select resource" field remains empty, even though a page has been selected

Expected behavior
The "Select resource" field should display the currently selected resource before the OK button is pressed.
