Setting up SMTP for email notifications on Unraid docker

The dotenv.example isn't in the obico appdata folder, so I added variables in the docker settings for the all of the SMTP settings that are supposed to be there, but, when I try to verify my email address (Gmail) in the Obico dashboard to set up email notifications, it just goes to a HTTP 500 error. Any tips/hints?

Im sure that you have double checked, but the simplest explanation would be ANY invalid email variables, ie username, password, mail server settings.
