LaTeX in Multiline comments all renders on top line on iPad

I noticed that if you make a multiline text comment, any inline LaTeX will display on the top line right-aligned on ipad browsers (firefox, google chrome). So if you have multiple instances of inline latex they will all render on top of each other. Example linked here.

What version of iOS? Can you upgrade to the latest?

Sadly it's likely a Safari bug (which Chrome and Firefox use to render on iOS), but I thought the latest version had this fixed - unless they broke it again.

iPadOS 18.7.2. When I saw the bug I decided to update and it still rendered like this :(
