cwapi3d version

Hello,
is it possible to find which cwapi3d version is being used in the cadwork application? The older releases of cwapi3d don't follow the versioning scheme of cadwork so we aren't sure which release corresponds to the methods that are present in our application. Also, do the current cwapi3d releases correspond exactly with released builds of the application itself?

Hi,

We have adapted the versioning so that the versioning is identical to the cadwork build.

in METADATA you find the version of the package you are using

Name: cwapi3d
Version: 30.498.0

import importlib.metadata

def get_package_version(package_name):
    return importlib.metadata.version(package_name)¨

You cannot query the "package" version that is used in cadwork itself.
You could compare the cadwork build number with the package version to find out whether the client is up to date or not.

The cadwork build I have is 30.403, which doesn't correspond to any cwapi3d versions. Is it possible to know the package version for this specific build?
