How do we have branches setup in this repository?

Each branch is meant to be a different version of create-react-app. The latest branch is the latest update of create-react-app.

I'm considering closing versioned branches and leaving latest after I build them only opening them to work on a new version, moving them into releases as Facebook does with Facebook/create-react-app.
