Css customization for widgets #3399

The widgets are amazing, but everyone wants something different. It would be great if we could add JS and CSS directly to built in widgets. While a bit of scope creep I do think in the long run it would cut down on maintenance and updates. If we could add onShow, onStateChange, onMessage and CSS fields to the widgets then when someone wants something new we can guide people to just add the feature they need rather than having people asking for a specific integration.

For example, this case here: https://discord.com/channels/372817064034959370/1455059804190937233/1455183345368436757.

It would mean a little bit of upfront work to build them in a way that supports that, but in the long run the core built in widgets can be much more basic and we could worry less about built in feature support. It's easier to support a setup that might need tweaking occasionally without releasing a full update, and it makes it much easier for the community to build setups to support features that the dev team are unable to support in the long term.
