can the 404 page content be improved?

Any docs page that doesn't exist, e.g. https://docs.crossplane.io/v2.1/foo

What's Wrong?

I landed on a docs page that doesn't exist today and got the 404 page, and a couple things struck me as odd:

• v2.0-preview is listed, even though that version isn't in the version dropdown/picker
• The welcome and contributing guide pages are included, but at random places. should they be included? should they be sorted better?
• is ending the pre-list content with a - the right punctuation to use?
