I am stuck.
The task says that it cannot determine the LabVIEW version.

My final goal is to build the executable and an NI package. The package will be published into a feed on a network share.

How do you specify input, output directories, ....

Can you please provide your error message?
You need to specify the LabVIEW project file. In LabVIEW itself a Build Specification Name and Target Name are set. You need to set the same values in the plugin.
As an Output directory you can set whatever you want, usually you want to use a artifacts directory (Eg. $(Build.ArtifactStagingDirectory)) where a following step is publishing the artifact.

I think the problem is the LabVIEWPath argument.
See the error message from the Azure Pipeline job:
