project creation problem

Hello, I am following the steps in the documentation to create a project with Klutter in Android Studio, but the project cannot be created. Either the files are created without content, or it gets stuck on the "loading... project" screen. I also tried selecting the "Get Flutter dependencies from git" option, but the issue persists. I am working on a Linux machine. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do?

Thank you for your response. Here are the additional details you requested:

• Android Studio Version: 2024.1.1.11-Koala (installed via Snap)
• Linux Distribution and Version: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
• Error Logs or Stacktrace: Unfortunately, I cannot retrieve any logs because the IDE completely freezes during the project creation process. The freeze occurs on the "loading... project" screen, and I am forced to terminate the process manually.

Here are the steps I followed:

1. Open Android Studio and select "New Klutter Project."
2. Choose the Klutter template as described in the documentation.
3. Fill in the required fields and proceed to create the project.
4. The project creation process either:
   • Creates empty files without content.
   • Gets stuck on the "loading... project" screen indefinitely.

I have also tried enabling the "Get Flutter dependencies from Git" option, but the issue persists.

Would you have any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this issue further or provide more useful information?

Thank you for your patience. I am short on time so haven't been able to look into this earlier. I can reproduce the issue, but unclear what is wrong. I will investigate.

You could try and use kradle to create a new project and get started. Create the project with kradle create and then open it in Android Studio to continue. At least you then do not have to wait for this issue to be fixed.
