Describe your issue as much as you can

Got an email from google saying "Action Required: Important update about Bitnami from the Google Cloud Marketplace Team - We are writing to inform you that bitnami-launchpad has decided to stop offering wordpress on as of October 28, 2025.

Just wanted to clarify - but is my instance on the google cloud still going to run, or do i need to migrate off a bitnami image onto something else (and is there any suggestions on the migration your pointing people?)

Any other info would be helpful... thanks in advance.

Hi @xgaibtcgd,

Thank you for using Bitnami. As you were notified, Bitnami solutions will no longer be available in the Google Marketplace. However, AFAIK, all running servers should continue working as expected. Google's support team can confirm this.

If you want to continue using the latest version of the Bitnami WordPress solution, you can either launch the VM on AWS and migrate your data to that new instance

or deploy it locally either using the Virtual Machine or building the docker images available in our Github repository

Note: You will need to build WordPress and MariaDB images to run the docker-compose.
