No way to do a fully unattended setup

The installation guide proivides setup instructions, and it requires manual typing in of things and button presses. Is there anything we can do to make this fully automatic?

We can probably already do it with the installer and cli command OR i can just write what's missing.

Ah. That's perfect. Just thinking maybe it should be built-in to the startup script for the container.

okay i think we could do that with variables / env stuff and that way you can run a container and run all the install parts without having to script it.

You would ideally like to be able to docker run with variables and get the container set up from the run command?

i will work on that for you and that should let me simplify my process as well

another alternative is to use a filled config file in a volume like with the compose yml

sorry for spamming this.

Today we've added:

• added empty data folders with .gitignore
• A default.env file to allow setting variables.
• variables from the env to docker-compose.yml
• extended the doecker-entrypoint.sh file to install the server based on the variables when set

I'm building the develop image now and i'll test my install from the built image. but i can see the env variables passed to my test on the current build.
