Historical Timeline with slider

Just curious about this since the database has a lot of the data needed already. What are your thoughts on creating a slider on the Map View that you can see nodes availability and positions historically with a slider? Similar to how Google Earth has a history slider
As you slide it back and forth you would see the map update in real time? Would be neat to see where a node use to be a month ago.... or watch the mesh grow over time. Pretty cool.
