VirtualBox Version 7.2.4 r170995 (Qt6.8.0 on cocoa)
does not correctly switch between light/dark theme automatically
on macOS 12.7.6 (21H1320) on mac mini 2014.

It always stays in dark theme.

How can we reproduce this?

Hello and thank you for this report!

I've tested current 7.2.x on my macOS 13.7.8 and was not able to reproduce it exactly the way you have it on that screenshot above, which is strange and makes me think that the issue can be related to particular macOS version or some other configuration aspect. But nevertheless I should note that at least two of widgets were indeed affected by the problem you've described and I've fixed these issues (fixes will be available in the nearest minor 7.2 release).

I'll keep the bug opened and will remind you to check if there were any changes in subsequent 7.2.x, thanks in advance!
