I'm assuming that your script does not have permissions to be executed?
on linux this would be fixed with chmod +x ./script or something

If this is the case let me know and I might add a nicer error message for this

About remove hooks, how to config?

basically you just add the rm_ prefix to your scripts that are supposed to run when you remove things.

setup hooks are only ran when using the set command, remove hooks are ran when using the unset command
