Linux compatibility

I was looking at the releases and the code on itself and believe that is only targeted for Windows, also using an old .NET version that doesn't support Linux. I tried the project with mono and would love to contribute to it but I don't know if you have any plans on updating .NET version or supporting this further?

At this time I don't have plans to update the .NET version to support Linux/Mac.

I plan to make a separate version/branch for full cross platform support, but it may end up becoming it's own repository. I'm considering using Electron as that would be the easiest way to support Win/Linux/Mac.

Whenever you do that, let me know so I can chime in. I could start as well but I'd guess you have a better idea than me :)

@fromagge I've started porting the API to typescript at https://github.com/GhostTypes/ff-5mp-api-js, very WIP and messy but once this is complete I'll be starting on a cross-platform electron UI

I have been working on an Electron-based rewrite/recode while testing the TypeScript API , and will be making a separate repo for this soon ™
