project_wbs is stuck at v15. Anyone working on upgrading to v18?

Looking to create a WBS in Odoo but facing limitations. The old project_wbs looks incompatible and stuck at v15 (https://github.com/OCA/project/tree/15.0/project_wbs). 

Is there any path towards enabling it with v18? 

Does anyone have any other WBS or IMS solutions with or outside of Odoo?
