Unable to follow usage/build instructions

I was not able to follow usage instruction (it installs the docker image but then does not say what I should do with it) nor the build instruction. I end up with the following error:

/usr/bin/ld : /usr/lib64/libfl.so : undefined reference to "yylex"

I solved this ussue using the following patch:

The bottom line being that yylex is not available when using noyywrap and when using noyywrap, flex libraries should not be linked.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the report (and the fix).

Regarding Docker, after pulling the image you can run the container by running docker run -it genmc/kater. I will add update the README accordingly.

As far as compilation from source is concerned, I tried to reproduce the bug but failed. Could you please provide some more information on your setup? Judging from /usr/lib64 I assumed Fedora, but I did not encounter any build errors on my VM.

Yes, I am using Fedora 43, on a boring x86-64. I'm not sure what other information could help you: I installed all the packages from the distribution...

I can confirm that I can reproduce the error with a fresh clone of the Git repo, by only typing:

$ mkdir Release
$ cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release -B Release -S .
$ cmake --build Release
