Non-default device?

I was curious, could this library be extended to support external trackpad devices like the Apple Magic Trackpad? I don't really know what methods the MultitouchSupport.framework exposes / if this is possible. But it would be cool to use an external device as a scale too.

Hey! I believe the private MultiTouchSupport API does support magic trackpad. Have you tried it on that?

@KrishKrosh I'm not sure it does, at least with the current APIs being called. Maybe on an iMac/Mac Mini if it's the only trackpad connected?

I only have macbooks with me, and connecting the external magic trackpad does not register anything on the TrackWeight app when running it.

I assume since this library supports only the default device right now, that it will always use the internal macbook trackpad. If I had to take a wild guess, it's due to how MTDeviceCreateDefault is called here.

To support trackpad switching, we would probably need a way to enumerate the list of devices, and allow the user to specify which device they want readings from.

I just confirmed that it also works with a pair of Mac mini and Magic Trackpad. It should basically work with the primary touch device. If multiple trackpads were connected, it would be one of them.
