Description
Sometimes, creating a jar doesn't work, usually during the first play session of a Superflat world.
Apparent issues:
- Constructing a jar and right-clicking the top with a Jar Cork does nothing in-game, with only
[Server thread/ERROR]: Error getting jar dimension!being thrown in the log. - Running any
/jar-itcommand prints the chat message "No jar dimension???". I can give myself a jar using/jar-it give 1, but placing it infinitely spams the log with[Server thread/ERROR]: Error getting jar dimension!until the jar is broken.
Tests:
- A Normal world created with NO configuration changes, aside from "Game Mode: Creative", works fine.
- A Superflat world created with NO configuration changes, aside from "Game Mode: Creative" and "World Type: Superflat", has the above issues.
- (only tested under singleplayer; multiplayer not tested)
Workaround:
- Leaving and rejoining the Superflat world fixes the bug.
Caveats:
- I once created a Normal world that had this bug. Rejoining it fixed it as well.
- I've created at least one Superflat world that did not have this bug.
- I've since deleted both of those worlds because I'm a bit silly.
