My VU client crashes when I scope in with a sniper rifle (8x) scope when playing with bots. I get a funbots error in the server console. Pls help #348

Hi,
yeah 2.9.1 and also in 2.9.3. Seems like it happens after about 5 mins into a match too. Almost like a memory leak etc.
I do have a mod running that makes 2x vehicle spawns. Would that be causing it?

And are you sure that this server-error causes the client to crash? Or might this be independent from each other? |

no, not 100% sure but I have noticed in the server console that this
message shows quite a lot of the time when I get the client CTD. It's
really odd as in the past its been the server thats crashed not the client.
I am running reshade in the VU client but I tried disabling it and still
getting the same error. It might be related to some mods I have though as
last night I tried disabling a mod I have called VU-killstreak + about 8
other mods that adds vehicles to the killstreaks and was able to play two
full matches on conquest with bots with no CTD or errors. I will test again
just now on the Gulf of Oman map that I know regularly crashed and let you
know. Hopefully it's just a funky conflict with the VU-killstreak which I
can live without.

yeah I just got through a whole match on Gulf of Oman with no crashes in
client and no errors in the server console either with the VU-killstreaks
mods disabled so it must have been some sort of conflict. Thanks for
looking into it. Seems like it's fixed now. If anyone asks in future maybe
avoid the VU-killstreaks with Funbots.

Hi,
I've noticed that my VU client crashes (server stays up though) sometimes when playing against bots. I was just playing Gulf of Oman with 20 bots each side and it crashed when I scoped in with the sniper rifle (m40a5) seemingly when there is a vehicle on screen. Not sure 100% if it's related but seems to be something to do with looking through the scope and with bots and vehicles. The error I get in the server console is...
[error] [VeniceEXT] [fun-bots] Error: string "Vehicles.lua" ] 53: cannot cast an instance of type 'SoldierEntityData' to 'VehicleEntityData' stack traceback: [C] in global 'VehicleEntityData'[string "Vehicles.lua"]: 53: in mehtod 'GetVehiclebyEntity'[string "Gamedirector.lua" 737 in method 'OnVehicleExit.... then the error goes on a bit more
Client crashes on several maps. Doesn't seem to be map exclusive. Any ideas?
