Alerts.

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone else here is having issues with alerts. in the old now not working version of Prism players was not able to see alerts like when people place 'Lava buckets' etc... now after installing this version players can see the warnings? has there been a change to the permissions note that is used when displaying alerts?

AFAIK, alert code has not been touched in any of the cherry picked commits or my changes. Unusual that your players are suddenly getting them. Could you please double check permission nodes and config.yml?

I could look into it, but we don't use alerts so it would be a very low priority. Sorry!

Confirmed on my server as well. Alert permissions are being ignored and all players can now see all alerts.

Please try to put this at a higher priority; it's definitely an issue for my server.

Oops, looks like this was due to #7 , which I have yet to get around to testing. Can someone please build and confirm if fixed?

I have had a look and tested this and I can confirm the issue is still happening for me. I dont know if anyone has tested this?

Just to update; I've currently lost motivation in anything Minecraft related, so it is difficult for me to attend to issue reports at the moment. I don't know how long I will be on hiatus, sorry.

As far as I know, issue is not happening on my side. Try turning on permission plugin debug mode to see which nodes are queried.

Personally I use LuckPerms for permissions and verbose mode didn't show that players without permission being added could see the messages.

I am sorry to report that I am retiring from Minecraft, and that this project should now be considered abandoned. I will be unwatching the project and this issue.
