Works only once, then prevents suspend

RM2: V3.3.2.1666, toltec installed,

On a fresh boot or fresh start of xochitl, pushing the power button puts the device to sleep with no problem. However, the next time I try that, the device always wakes up after approx 14 seconds, until I reboot/ restart xochitl.

Starting xochitl with OXIDE_PRELOAD_DEBUG=1 shows the following when I press the power button:

Getting /sys/power/state pipe

but execution never reaches systemctl suspend.

I disabled the preload by omitting it from /opt/etc/xochitl.env.d/sysfs_preload.env, and everything seem to works as expected. But I am curious about the motivation for this preload, and whether omitting it has consequences.

There should be more output if it's handling the sysfs call. Are you sure you are waiting long enough for xochitl to actually get to the suspend call?

The motivation is to have systemd suspend targets be used, which lets you run units/scripts on suspend and resume.

All subsequent tries result in the "bad case" log (until I restart xochitl). The device screen simply wakes up again and drains the battery, so waiting long does not give a diff result.

Interestingly though, when I attempted to reproduce now it consistently took 1 minute between screen off and successful/failed suspend. Previously it took almost exactly 14 seconds, also seemingly consistent. Not sure what changed the duration, but in the meantime I installed remux and rmfakecloud-proxy.

I wonder if it's behaviour has changed, and it's now trying to read the states available from /sys/power/state after the first suspend, which will never return, as reading from it wasn't really implemented yet.
