Changing Weapon Automatically

Describe the bug
When picking up item Coal, weapon type changes from using "claws" to "breath" ability.

To Reproduce
Attack any small, medium or large coal with weapon claws
After coal deposit is depleted, pick up item of coal.
Weapon will now have changed to fire (breath) ability.

Expected behavior
I feel that picking any item in the game should not automatically change whatever weapon I am currently using.

I am currently running on steam on windows 10. Game version 1.0.8224
