Giving wrong code for my unit

I have radio player with ERC Number: E69A0A0044900656

Berks/python_erc give me code 17EF8F911 but my player accept 8 digit code. I tried two combination 17EF8F91 and 7EF8F911 but both did not work. I am not sure if you can check that ?
